Getting started with Twitter I wanted to know how connected is the social network. Specifically I wanted to see Friends of Friends. Also I wanted to know how many times a nick on the social network was followed those I'm following.
To this end, I wrote a quick and dirty ruby script. Its available on pastie.
The results below count the number of times a nick is Followed on Twitter. The count only includes what I'm following (e.g. Friends) and what they are following (e.g. Friends of Friends). My nick is neversleep360. This two level seach started with 18 nicks I'm following and found 590 more. To go one more level deeper would have gone to 12000 nicks. Maybe I'll run it another day.
